Here's your chance! Each month, Mary Lou answers your fashion, wardrobe, and accessorizing questions. If you have something that you need to know, ask away! If your question is chosen, you'll receive a complimentary Organization By Design Survival Kit. What have you got to lose?! For April, 2000: Q: I am 5' 2" and a little full-bodied. I have a full bust and a short waist. What is the best length blazer to wear? A: Typically your blazer should not be longer than where your fingers start when you drop your arms comfortably to your sides. When blazers are too long, you end up looking even more top heavy. In our petite seminars, I often hold up two blazers - one a size 10 petite and the other is the same jacket in a size 10 regular. Do this yourself the next time you visit a store. You'll see how much shorter the petite blazer is cut. |
