Here's your chance! Each month, Mary Lou answers your fashion, wardrobe, and accessorizing questions. If you have something that you need to know, ask away! If your question is chosen, you'll receive a complimentary Organization By Design Survival Kit. What have you got to lose?! For March, 1998: Q: How many pairs of shoes should I have in my closet? A: It’s really a question of need vs. want! When you think about it, you don’t actually need many. Having a few that are comfortable, in style and in good repair makes getting dressed easier and error free. A very basic shoe wardrobe can consist of a couple of high heel pumps for dressier looks and a few lower heeled pumps for skirts, dressier pants, dresses and suits. An ankle boot is a smart choice to wear with pants, jeans, and long skirts. Oxfords, sneakers and outdoor sandals complete casual and weekend shoe needs. |
