For March, 2005:
Q: I love all of the skirts that are out this season. My question is what kind of hosiery can I wear with them now that won’t look too heavy or dated but will still give me some coverage?
A: : The best hosiery choice this season, and a great way to lighten your legs without going completely bare, are beige fishnets. Show off a full fishnet leg with an A-line skirt and a kitten-heel pump, or sport a pair of fishnet knee-highs under a pair of slacks with a variety of shoes including mules, slingbacks and even open toe shoes or sandals. They aren’t the best choice for most professional settings but they sure can spice up many weekend and evening looks.
