For February, 2006:
Q: I don’t have great looking legs, very slightly bow-legged. What types of skirts/dresses/shoes should I wear that would flatter me and my legs? I love knee-length clothes/ no shorts!! And I love kitten heels; no high heels. Would that make me look better?
A: : A flat front wide-leg trouser will help to elongate the body and cover the leg. Pant hems should be long enough to cover the shoe for a longer looking leg. Shoe should be in a tonal or monochromatic match to continue the line. Also, a pointed shoe helps to elongate the entire leg.
If you like wearing skirts, choose skirts that are hemmed just below the knee. A skirt that is slightly flared works best for this body type. Match the tops for your skirts in a monochromatic color to help make your body(especially your legs) look taller. Continue the line with knee-high boots and colored/textured hosiery.
A kitten heel is better then no heel at all to lengthen the leg. If your shoes and boots have a one to two inch heel, the height will help to lengthen the leg.
