Sixth Annual Belle of the Ball

Anton'sSponsored by Anton’s Cleaners, a family- owned chain of 43 stores in Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, Belle of the Ball cleans and distributes prom dresses to local high school junior and senior girls who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend their school’s prom. Access to the boutique is by referral from guidance counselors, teachers and social service agency representatives. Once registered, each girl who attends the "boutique" at Simmons College in Boston is assisted by a volunteer personal shopper to make sure that she finds the right dress.

Belle of the BallWe are pleased to be partnering with Anton’s for the sixth year in a row by training the volunteer personal shoppers and assisting with prom dress selections. It’s a fun and worthwhile event and volunteers are needed. If you would like to be a personal shopper at this year’s boutique, please contact Danielle DiGiovanni, Belle of the Ball Coordinator, at 617-328-0069 or danielle@grahamcomm.com for more information.

To read more about this fantastic program and to view photos of last year’s event, visit the Belle of the Ball page at antons.com.

(Editor’s Note: Have a dress to donate? All Anton’s Cleaners and Jordan’s Furniture stores will be accepting prom dress donations. Dresses can be dropped off at any Anton’s Cleaners or Jordan’s Furniture store location from February 1 through April 15th. Dresses can be any size, however petite and plus-size styles are especially needed. Dresses should be in good condition and be no more than 3-4 years old so that they are still trendy and in style. Visit www.antons.com and www.jordans.com for locations.)

"Thank you for your outstanding contributions to Belle of the Ball the past 4 years. You and your team are a major asset to this program. The event was once again a success last year with over 300 girls taking home gowns. Your expertise assisting the volunteer personal shoppers in ensuring that each girl left happy is invaluable. We look forward to your participation next year."
