National Wear Red Day

Everyone (men too!) can support the fight against heart disease in women by wearing red today. It's a simple, powerful way to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke. The Art of Dressing Well in Support of the American Heart Association

Go RedWe are pleased to be participating in this year’s Boston Go Red for Women Luncheon being held today at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel. Mary Lou Andre will be hosting a morning breakout session — The Art of Dressing Well — before the luncheon. Perfectly Petite Spring Fashion Event at Macy’s Chestnut Hill

MacysMary Lou joins the grand opening celebration for the new Macy’s in Chestnut Hill, MA — formerly Bloomingdales before Bloomingdales was relocated across the street to the Mall at Chestnut Hill — and hosts an event exclusively for petite women. She’ll share tips on how to properly find the perfect petite fit while commentating a spring fashion show. The presentation begins promptly at 1:00 pm in the petite department. Mary Lou will be on hand in the department after the event to answer questions and help customers shop for spring clothes. Reservations are not required — just show up and join in the fun!

Join us at the beautiful Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge, MA from 6-9 pm for our third annual fashion seminar to benefit Dress for Success Boston. “Empower” at the Boston Women’s MBA Association

For the past seven years, the Boston Women’s MBA Association has brought together over 200 students, faculty, alumni and female professionals throughout the Boston community for their annual Empower Women’s Leadership Forum. This year’s theme is “Taking Control of Your Personal Success” and Mary Lou will present her signature professional image program that includes how to use your image as part of your personal branding campaign. The event is being held at the Boston University School of Management from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Third Annual Belle of the Ball

Sponsored by Anton’s Cleaners, a family- owned chain of 43 stores in Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, Belle of the Ball cleans and distributes prom dresses to local high school junior and senior girls who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend their school’s prom. Access to the boutique is by referral from guidance counselors, teachers and social service agency representatives. Once registered, each girl who attends the boutique is assisted by a volunteer personal shopper to make sure that she finds the right dress.

We are pleased to be partnering with Anton’s for the third year in a row by training the volunteer personal shoppers and assisting with prom dress selections. It’s a fun and worthwhile event and volunteers are needed.
