Bates Communications Executive Presence for Women Leaders

We kicked off our busy 2017 leadership work with Bates Communications in beautiful Cape Coral, Florida. Prior to the retreat, participants completed an executive presence assessment, the Bates ExPI, which provides multi-rater feedback on perceptions on executive presence. The 3-day program then honed-in on the executive presence developmental themes of the group and included our module on executive image. Pictured with the group at the opening night reception are co-facilitators Suzanne Bates, President and CEO of Bates, and Scott Weighart, Bates Director of Learning and Development. Suzanne is on the far right (you can probably figure out where Scott is!) Bates is hosting two more leadership retreats in Cape Coral in early March. Learn More.

13th Annual Belle of the Ball Dress Collection Kickoff

Please drop off your good quality, trendy prom dresses to one of Anton's Cleaners 42 locations, all Jordan's Furniture stores or any Enterprise Bank branch office today through April 4th. Belle of the Ball distributes cleaned prom dresses at no charge to high school junior and senior girls who could not otherwise afford to attend their school's prom. Unlike other prom gown collection drives, this program culminates with a day-long boutique where deserving girls are invited for a day of personal shopping and pampering. Last year, over 400 girls participated in Boutique Day. (To view highlights from Boutique Day, click here.) We need your help to ensure Belle of the Ball is a success again this year. Thank you!

25 Years of Dressing Well

DWfoundation logoTo celebrate the 25th anniversary of our firm, we are pleased to announce the launch of The Dressing Well Charitable Foundation.   Our Foundation provides monetary support to other 501(c)(3) organizations, especially those that offer clothing, career support and social services to women, men and children while encouraging self-sufficiency.  Please visit the Fashionable Giving section of our website to learn more about our long standing relationship with several prominent non-profits and why we support them year in and year out. While we will continue to donate our time and talent to the charities we love, our Foundation allows us to increase the financial support they also need to thrive. We greatly appreciate your generous donations (100% which are tax-deductible) to help further the good work of these outstanding organizations. Thank you.

13th Annual Belle of the Ball

Dressing Well Stylist Sarah Zengo and client Carey Heath help the over 500 girls who participated in the 12th annual Belle of the Ball last year at Simmons College in Boston. Dresses, shoes, jewelry and smiles were in abundance! Hats off to lead sponsor Anton's Cleaners. They truly know how to make dreams come true. Check out this clip on Fox 25 Boston that gives a great overview of the event (including an interview with Mary Lou Andre about why Dressing Well sponsors the event each year.) We look forward to another successful day this year!

Please consider donating your gently used coats to any Anton's Cleaners, Enterprise Bank, or Jordan's Furniture locations. Fashion Plates: A Fashion Show and Luncheon

Fashion Plates logoWe are pleased to support "Fashion Plates: A Fashion Show and Luncheon" to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater New England Chapter. Our support pays tribute to the spirit of Karen Van Houten. From 2001-2003, Mary Lou Andre and Karen, along with Eleanor Uddo, co-chaired a similar fashion event for the MS Society, raising over $200,000 during this three year commitment. We salute Karen for inspiring us then and now. To learn more about Fashion Plates (and to meet this year's amazing models), please visit the Fashion Plates Facebook page. We are thrilled to once again be supporting the good work of the MS Society, this time through the mission of our new Foundation.
