For Jen Coletti, joining Organization by Design, Inc. as a fashion and image consultant marked a welcome return to her true passion — fashion and style.
"Clothes, fashion, fabrics and design are all things that I have always been drawn to and have been passionate about," notes Jen. "I forewent a two year fashion program that I was accepted into straight out of high school in favor of a four-year program in human resources at Villanova. In retrospect, it was definitely the right choice. Everyday I clearly see the value of my experience in the corporate world as I fulfill my consulting duties at Organization By Design, Inc. I really love this job!"
Jen brings to our firm more than a dozen years in television and financial services — two industries that regularly turn to Organization By Design, Inc for help developing the executive presence of their talent and employees. In her last corporate job, she was the human resources director for WLVI-TV and WEWB-TV in Boston and Albany. In this role, she thrived as an executive coach helping managers develop their leadership skills. This experience has given her keen insight into how to skillfully communicate to her clients about how to present a polished image that compliments both their professional and personal lives.
"A consultation is a very personal and intimate experience, which can be very scary for many people because most of us aren’t that comfortable with our bodies," says Jen. "My role in HR was really to make people feel comfortable, to connect with them immediately, and to help them feel excited about what we’re going to do. That translates very nicely to my work with Organization by Design clients."
