Organization By Design, Inc. is a professional image consulting firm that provides on-going solutions to corporate image and dress code challenges. The firm was founded in 1992 by Mary Lou Andre. Mary Lou now serves as the President and CEO of the firm.

From our headquarters in Needham, Massachusetts, we work with clients globally. We can serve you no matter where you and/or your employees reside thanks to conference calls and web-based collaboration tools.
Corporate Consulting Services
In the corporate arena, we have provided dress code consulting, sales training, professional image seminars and one-on-one coaching for employees for companies including Estee Lauder, Fidelity, John Hancock, Bose, and Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants. We also provide these services for banks, credit unions and professional services firms across the United States and Canada.
High-end Customer Appreciation Events
We also provide high-end customer appreciation events for companies interested in building relationships with their female executive customers and prospects. American Express, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and State Street Global Advisors are among our clients who have enlisted our services to create and host sophisticated events at unique venues that give their customers an opportunity to receive professional image advice from industry experts and a published author.
Women’s Internal Networking Groups & Conferences
We are also frequently called upon by law firms, financial services firms, manufacturers and health care organizations such as Frito Lay, Raytheon and State Street to deliver programs to their internal women’s networks. These networks are geared towards retaining female talent while supporting life balance initiatives. Our programs combine professional image wit, wisdom, and anecdotes with tips and strategies for organizing, building and maintaining a professional wardrobe that compliments a variety of lifestyles and budgets. We are also frequent speakers at women’s conferences.
Retailer Services
Organization By Design also consults with retailers to develop and deliver fashion seminars that increase sales volume and customer loyalty. We also provide sales training, premiums and marketing support for our retail customers. Mary Lou Andre is also available to meet with senor level retail executives to provide insights about the state of professional image in the marketplace and how it can impact merchandising, marketing and sales strategies.
Colleges & Universities
We work with a variety of colleges and universities such as Suffolk University Graduate School, Boston College and Northeastern University to design programs to help graduating seniors to prepare to land (and keep!) their dream jobs. These programs are also offered to alumnae groups.
