Welcome 2018! (& Dressing Well in the New York Times: Winning Winter with Outerwear)

By Mary Lou Andre

2018 is off to a great start here at Dressing Well. Our stylist team is busy helping our private clientele navigate January sales racks while also providing closet sessions that combat cabin fever and tidy up indoor spaces that are hard to turn your back on this time of year.

Aligning your wardrobe with how you live and want to present yourself to the world is actually far from a frivolous activity. It can help you reach a myriad of professional and personal goals. We are here to help and look forward to hearing from you.

For some great tips on how to dress (and live!) better this winter, check out the New York Times article “How to Win Winter When You Hate Winter.” Our tips are shared alongside others who have expertise in all things Old Man Winter. Enjoy!

Our speaking and seminar schedule is “plowing” ahead into the New Year too! Check out our updated online calendar which includes a list of the Bates Communications Open Enrollment Leadership Programs we will be presenting at this year. 2018 marks our 5th year partnering with Bates and we love the work. If you are looking to increase your speaking skills and/or executive presence in 2018, we highly recommend these programs.

Finally, our newly minted Dressing Well Charitable Foundation continues to exceed expectations on all fronts. We are looking forward to funding more worthy causes that use fashion and clothing to empower others. Look for news soon about a brand new partnership that we will be starting with our friends at the Needham Community Council and Family Promise Metro West. We are super excited to use the karma, generosity and incredible influence of our clients to benefit others less fortunate.

Here’s to 2018. Make it your best year ever!
